Apple has pushed out the second public betas of iOS 26.2, iPadOS 26.2, tvOS 26.2, and watchOS 26.2, just a day after releasing the third developer beta.

If you’re part of the public beta program, you can grab the update right now through Settings > Software Update.

What’s New in iOS 26.2

iOS 26.2 continues to shape up as a feature-packed update. Here’s what testers can expect:

Liquid Glass for the Lock Screen

You can now adjust the translucency of the Lock Screen clock using the new Liquid Glass slider. It’s a small touch, but it adds a slick degree of customization.

Refined Sleep Score Labels (watchOS 26.2)

Sleep Score labeling has been updated to better reflect actual sleep quality, giving users more accurate feedback.

AirPods Live Translation (EU Only)

Users in the European Union gain access to Live Translation through AirPods—part of Apple’s ongoing regulatory compliance updates.

Reminders Alarm Option

You can now have an alarm go off exactly when a reminder is due. Simple but useful.

More App Updates

Apple has sprinkled improvements across multiple apps including Podcasts, Passwords, and Freeform.

What’s Changed in the Latest Betas

Each beta has introduced a wave of tweaks:

Second Public Beta

  • Smoother and more fluid menu animations
  • Liquid Glass added to the Measure app
  • New option to turn off pinned messages in CarPlay

Third Developer Beta (Included in Public Release Timeline)

When Will iOS 26.2 Launch?

Apple is expected to roll out the final version of iOS 26.2 in December, making this one of the last major updates before the holiday break.
