The Nothing Phone (3) has officially landed, and this time, it’s not just about flashy lights. With a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, sleek Glyph Matrix, and a $799 price tag, it’s the company’s most powerful phone yet and a true flagship contender for 2025.

Nothing Phone (3): Specs That Matter

Powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, the Nothing Phone (3) is available with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM, and 256GB or 512GB of storage. The 6.67-inch AMOLED display (1.5K resolution) hits a dazzling 4,500 nits brightness and runs smoothly at 120Hz, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i on the front and Victus on the back.

Battery life looks solid with a 5,150 mAh (5,500 mAh in India) cell, paired with 65W USB-C wired charging and 15W wireless charging (no Qi2, though).

Glyph Matrix: A Flashy New Identity

The new Glyph Matrix replaces the classic LED light strips on the back. Instead, it’s a full dot-matrix display that shows time, notifications, and even lets you play quirky “Toys” like Magic 8 Ball or Leveler. You can also touch the back of the phone to interact with it, yes, the back is now a smart button!

Cameras and Software

The camera system is stacked with four 50MP sensors: a main, 3x telephoto (which doubles as a macro), ultrawide, and a front-facing 50MP selfie cam, all capable of shooting 4K at 60fps.

It runs Android 15 with Nothing OS 3.5, offering cool new features like Smart Search, Essential Space, and Flip to Record, which gives you AI-powered summaries of real-world voice recordings. Nothing OS 4.0 based on Android 16 will be rolling out before the end of September this year.

Availability and Pricing

Nothing Phone (3) is priced at $799 / €799 / £799, with pre-orders opening July 4 and full launch on July 15 via Nothing’s website and Amazon.

Color options? Classic black and white.

Final Thoughts

The Nothing Phone (3) brings a bold mix of flagship specs, playful design, and AI-infused features. With the Glyph Matrix, Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, and extended support of 5 years of Android updates, this one might actually be the company’s most compelling phone yet.
