Apple and (RED) have announced a new Apple (RED) partnership that will run through December 7, giving iPhone users an easy way to support the fight against AIDS during World AIDS Day 2025.
Apple will Donate $5 Per Apple Pay Purchase
For every qualifying purchase made using Apple Pay at an Apple Store, Apple Store Online, or the Apple Store app, Apple will donate $5 to the Global Fund. The company has set a $3 million cap for this year’s contribution window.
This annual initiative has become a core part of the ongoing Apple (RED) partnership, which continues to raise awareness and fund global AIDS programs.
19 Years of Apple and (RED) Working Together
Apple and (RED) first teamed up in 2006, launching (PRODUCT)RED iPhones, iPods, Apple Watch bands, and accessories. A portion of sales from each item went directly to the Global Fund. These signature red products helped the partnership raise hundreds of millions of dollars across nearly two decades.
In recent years, Apple has shifted its focus toward Apple Pay fundraising campaigns, encouraging customers to support World AIDS Day by simply checking out with Apple Pay.
Where the Donations Go
All donations generated through this year’s Apple (RED) partnership will go to the Global Fund, a US-based organization supporting AIDS treatment, prevention, and critical health programs in vulnerable regions.
If you plan to shop at Apple this week, using Apple Pay is an easy way to contribute at no extra cost.
