Apple’s latest round of software updates is here. The company has just released developer beta 2 versions of watchOS 26.1, tvOS 26.1, and visionOS 26.1, marking another step forward in its October beta cycle.

These builds arrive two weeks after the first betas and are now available to download for registered developers.

watchOS 26.1 Beta 2

The Apple Watch is also getting its share of updates with watchOS 26.1 beta 2, which continues Apple’s trend of refining performance and preparing the system for Apple Intelligence expansion.

So far, Apple hasn’t revealed any major visual or functional changes, but this beta could include under-the-hood improvements for stability, battery efficiency, and integration with iOS 26.1.

In earlier betas, Apple Intelligence began rolling out in eight new languages, with AirPods Live Translation also expanding into five more. While the Apple Watch didn’t gain much from those features in beta 1, this new release might bring compatibility updates to better align with those broader improvements.

To install watchOS 26.1 beta 2, developers can open the Watch app on iPhone, go to General > Software Update, and make sure Beta Updates are turned on.

tvOS 26.1 Beta 2

Meanwhile, tvOS 26.1 beta 2 is available now for Apple TV 4K users enrolled in the developer beta program. The new build follows beta 1’s release two weeks ago and, as expected, focuses on performance enhancements and system-level bug fixes rather than headline features.

Still, there’s a reason to keep an eye on this update. With rumors pointing to a new Apple TV 4K model launching around the same time tvOS 26.1 ships publicly, Apple could be fine-tuning the system for that new hardware.

Even if beta 2 doesn’t show visible changes, Apple often reserves certain interface tweaks or hidden features for the public release build, making tvOS 26.1 one to watch in the coming weeks.

Developers can install the update by going to Settings > System > Software Updates > Get Beta Updates on their Apple TV.

visionOS 26.1 Beta 2

Rounding out today’s beta lineup is visionOS 26.1 beta 2 for the Apple Vision Pro. The new build focuses on performance optimization, gesture responsiveness, and hand tracking accuracy, ensuring smoother operation within visionOS’s immersive environment.

Developers can download and install visionOS 26.1 beta 2 using the Vision Pro Developer Tools in Xcode or directly through Settings > Software Update on the headset.
