If you’ve been annoyed by random ads popping up from Apple’s Wallet app, you’re not alone. In iOS 26, Apple finally added a way to turn off those pesky “Offers & Promotions” alerts, without silencing the important stuff like payment or transaction notifications.

This update comes after a wave of backlash earlier this year when iPhone users suddenly saw promos for F1 movie tickets in Wallet. Since Wallet is where you track credit cards, passes, and tickets, mixing in marketing alerts didn’t sit well. Thankfully, Apple got the message and added a simple toggle in iOS 26.

How to Turn Off Wallet Offers and Promotions in iOS 26

  1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap the More (three dots) button in the top-right corner.
  3. Choose Notifications from the menu.
  4. Toggle off Offers & Promotions.

That’s it—no more surprise ads in Wallet.

Other Notification Controls Worth Checking

While you’re here, iOS 26 also gives you more control over Wallet alerts. You can now:

  • Order Notifications – Decide if you want updates for shipping and deliveries.
  • Pre-authorized Payments – Control alerts for recurring charges and subscriptions.
  • Feature Updates – Choose whether Apple can notify you about new Wallet features.

With these settings, you can keep Wallet focused on what matters—transactions, tickets, and passes—without turning it into another ad platform.

Would you keep promos on for discounts, or are you switching them off right away?
