Nothing’s been teasing us all month, and today they finally pulled the wraps off their latest releases, the CMF Phone 2 Pro and a fresh trio of CMF Buds. And honestly? These are looking like some of the best bang-for-your-buck gadgets we’ll see this year.

Let’s start with the phone. The CMF Phone 2 Pro has everything it needs to shake up the budget phone scene. The base model (8GB RAM and 128GB storage) will set you back just £219 (though heads up: it’s not available in the US beta program). Want a little more storage? The upgraded version with 256GB costs only $279.

At those prices, it’s hard not to get excited — especially when you hear what it’s packing under the hood.

CMF Phone 2 Pro specs

You’re getting a 50MP main camera, a 16MP selfie shooter, and a quad-camera setup overall. There’s also a faster processor than last year’s CMF Phone 1, which Nothing says is 10% quicker and offers a 5% boost to graphics performance. Not bad at all for a phone at this price point.

Battery life also looks promising. We’re talking close to two full days on a single charge from the 5000mAh battery. Nothing says it’s good for “22 hours of YouTube, or 10 hours of BGMI gaming, or 47 hours of voice calls,” so yea, that is a lot.

Of course, there are a few compromises (you can’t have it all for under $300). The ultra-wide camera is only 8MP, and the processor isn’t exactly flagship-level fast, but it’s still solid for everyday use. Plus, the phone’s IP54 rating means it’s less water- and dust-resistant than high-end models (IP68 is the gold standard).

New Modular Accessories

What really makes The CMF Phone 2 Pro stand out though, is the lineup of modular accessories you can snap on, like a screw-in case, a kickstand-wallet hybrid, a bold orange lanyard, and interchangeable camera lenses: a fisheye and a macro lens, designed to sit directly on top of the main camera.

Still, for this kind of money, the CMF Phone 2 Pro looks like a steal. If you’re already convinced, preorders are live, and the phone officially launches on May 6.

Nothing’s New Affordable Earbuds

Nothing also dropped three new pairs of CMF Buds today, all priced to move.

CMF Buds 2 range
  • CMF Buds 2$59
You’ll get spatial audio, 48dB hybrid active noise cancellation, and fancy audio tuning by Dirac for clearer, punchier sound.
  • CMF Buds 2a $49
Want to save a few bucks? The 2a are even more affordable, offering more basic performance with slightly less powerful ANC.
  • CMF Buds 2 Plus $69
If you’re willing to stretch your budget a bit, the 2 Plus throw in Hi-Res LDAC audio, hearing compensation, and full EQ customization.

Final Thoughts?

Nothing continues to nail the “good tech for less money” vibe, and the CMF Phone 2 Pro plus the new Buds lineup look like serious contenders.
