Fly over Isla Nublar and the Muertes Archipelago in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024’s Jurassic World: Archipelago expansion, complete with dinosaurs and film locations.
Welcome to… Flight Simulator Jurassic Park
Well, they finally did it. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is getting an official Jurassic World expansion. Yes, you heard that right. Dinosaurs are now part of your pre-flight checklist.
Thanks to Australian devs Orbx (known for their scenery add-ons), Jurassic World: Archipelago will drop you right into the skies above Isla Nublar and the five islands of the Muertes Archipelago, all recreated with stunning detail and, yep, lots of dinosaurs.
Fly with Dinosaurs, What Could Go Wrong?
The expansion lets you visit iconic locations from the Jurassic Park and World films, including the theme park on Isla Nublar before things went sideways. Picture this: you’re piloting a chopper over a fully operational dino park, dodging pteranodons while guests scream below. Casual.
There are 10+ dinosaur species roaming the islands, including the T-Rex, velociraptors, and long-necked brachiosaurus just vibing in the jungle. You’ll also fly over abandoned breeding grounds on Isla Sorna, complete with overgrown labs and “uh-oh” energy.

Mission Objectives: Survive. And Maybe Give a Tour.
It’s not just sightseeing, you’ll get flying challenges like VIP transport to and from Costa Rica, guided tours, and landings at film-familiar helipads. Just don’t forget to check your surroundings for angry lizards.
Coming Soon
Jurassic World: Archipelago launches late August or early September on Xbox and PC, and yes, even the Game Pass crowd gets in. It’s compatible with the Standard Edition of MSFS 2024.
