According to a new leak from Majin Bu, a familiar name in the Apple leak scene, Sky Blue might be this year’s standout shade.
Sky Blue Could Be the Star of the Show
You read that right. Apple is reportedly testing several color options for the iPhone 17 Pro lineup, and Sky Blue is currently leading the pack. If it makes the final cut, expect to see it steal the spotlight at Apple’s September 2025 event. Bu says the prototype Sky Blue – or YuangFeng Blue as he writes on his website – color looks even better than the fan-favorite Sierra Blue from the iPhone 13 Pro. It is brighter, more polished, and basically impossible to ignore.
What makes this even more interesting? Sky Blue already made its debut earlier this year with the M4 MacBook Air. It’s rare for Apple to use the same new color across different product lines in the same year, so this could be a sign that the color’s popularity is pushing it into iPhone territory.
