A new unboxing video may have just spoiled Apple’s next big iPad Pro upgrade. The clip, uploaded by Russian channel Wylsacom, shows what looks like a 13-inch iPad Pro powered by the unreleased M5 chip.

This isn’t the first time the channel has leaked Apple hardware — last year they revealed the M4 MacBook Pro ahead of launch.

What the Video Shows

According to the box, the model in question comes in Space Black, with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM. On the outside, nothing much seems different compared to the M4 iPad Pro: same single rear camera, four speakers, and Smart Connector.

But the performance numbers are where things get interesting:

  • CPU: Up to 12% faster multi-core scores vs. M4
  • GPU: Up to 36% faster graphics based on Metal benchmarks
  • RAM: 12GB (compared to 8GB in the M4 iPad Pro at the same storage tier)

The device shown is running iPadOS 26, and its battery was reportedly manufactured in August 2025.

What’s Next?

Rumors suggest Apple will officially unveil the M5 iPad Pro in October 2025, potentially alongside other new iPads. A second front-facing camera has also been tipped to make video calls easier in both portrait and landscape, though the leak doesn’t confirm it.

For now, this unboxing adds weight to the idea that the iPad Pro lineup is about to get its biggest performance jump since the M1 era.
