Apple has released iOS 26.1 beta 3 to developers, continuing the post-iOS 26 update cycle. The new build comes roughly two weeks after beta 2, signaling steady progress toward the official iOS 26.1 release.
As usual, iPadOS 26.1 beta 3 has also been rolled out alongside updates for macOS 26.1, watchOS 26.1, tvOS 26.1, and visionOS 26.1.
What’s New in iOS 26.1 Beta 3?
Apple hasn’t released a changelog yet, but this update likely focuses on bug fixes, performance tweaks, and refining the experience introduced with iOS 26’s Liquid Glass design.
So far, early testers are reporting smoother animations and better battery performance — though nothing major seems to have changed visually. Expect Apple to use these mid-cycle betas to polish things up before iOS 26.1 officially launches for everyone.
