Apple just pulled the wraps off the Apple Watch Series 11, and it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest updates to the lineup in years. Alongside its health-first features, the new watch brings better durability, faster connectivity, and longer battery life.
What’s New in Apple Watch Series 11
- Hypertension detection: The standout feature this year. The watch can track patterns that may indicate high blood pressure over time. Apple says it won’t catch every case, but it expects the feature to help alert more than a million people in the first year alone. FDA and international approvals are pending.
- Sleep Score: No more guessing how good (or bad) your night’s rest was. The new Sleep Score breaks down duration, consistency, wake-ups, and time spent in different sleep stages—all rolled into one easy number.
- 5G connectivity: For the first time, cellular models support 5G, giving you faster data speeds when you’re away from your iPhone.
- More durable design: The front crystal is now twice as resistant to scratches, so you don’t need to baby it during workouts or hikes.
- Battery upgrade: Finally—Apple bumped daily use to 24 hours, up from the long-standing 18. That extra six hours makes a real difference.
