A new leak suggests Apple may reposition the Apple logo on the iPhone 17 Pro, breaking its six-year center alignment. Here’s what we know.

The Apple Logo on the iPhone 17 Pro Could be Moved Lower Than the Center of the Phone Which Has Been its Original Position

It looks like Apple might be tweaking the iPhone’s iconic look again, this time by shifting the position of its logo.

According to leaker Majin Bu, the iPhone 17 Pro could feature a new Apple logo placement — no longer smack-dab in the center of the back, but slightly lower, beneath the rumored new camera bar. Yes, the Apple logo might be on the move again, six years after its last relocation with the iPhone 11.

And here’s the twist: case makers are apparently already testing designs with a cutout around the new Apple logo position, including adjustments to the MagSafe ring to make the logo more visible. So this could actually be happening.

Majin Bu doesn’t always hit the mark, but they have gotten things right in the past, like accurately leaking iPhone 16 Pro’s “Desert Titanium” color name. So while this may seem like an odd design decision, it’s not entirely out of the question.

Why would Apple do this? The rumor suggests better branding visibility, especially now that the entire top portion of the iPhone could be taken up by a redesigned horizontal camera bar.

For now, treat this as a rumor with a side of salt, but don’t be too surprised if the Apple logo shifts down next fall.
