iOS 26 brings a big upgrade to the Wallet app; your iPhone will now track all your packages automatically, even if you didn’t use Apple Pay to order them.
Smarter Deliveries with Apple Intelligence
Apple is integrating its new Apple Intelligence system into the Wallet app in iOS 26. One of the first useful results? Smarter package tracking.
Up until now, Wallet could only track packages for items you purchased with Apple Pay. That’s changing. With iOS 26, your iPhone can now scan your emails, specifically looking for tracking numbers from merchants and delivery services. These tracking details will then automatically show up in your Wallet app.
This is powered by on-device machine learning, meaning your data stays private while giving you a helpful, hands-off way to stay updated on deliveries.
How to Enable ‘Order Tracking’ in iOS 26
To try the feature in iOS 26, here’s what you need to do:
- Go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay
- Tap Apple Pay Defaults
- Select Order Tracking
- Toggle on Orders Found in Mail
You’ll see a beta label on this feature, which means Apple is still fine-tuning it.

When Can You Use It?
Right now, iOS 26 is only available for developers. A public beta is expected in July 2025, and the final version will launch to everyone in September, alongside the new iPhone models.
If you regularly shop online and want an easier way to track deliveries, without manually entering tracking numbers, this Wallet update could be one of the most practical new features in iOS 26.
