Apple is once again opening the doors to one of its most beloved holiday exclusives. A Charlie Brown Christmas will stream for free on Apple TV this Saturday, December 13, and Sunday, December 14, with no subscription required.
This follows the same playbook Apple used last month with A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, continuing a tradition that has quietly become one of the best seasonal perks of Apple TV.
A Holiday Tradition Apple Keeps Alive
Since Apple partnered with Peanuts Worldwide and WildBrain, Apple TV has been the exclusive streaming home for Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the rest of the Peanuts gang through 2030.
While most Peanuts content sits behind the Apple TV+ paywall, Apple makes a point to unlock the classic holiday specials every year for a limited time.
This weekend, that spotlight returns to the 1965 classic that introduced generations to Charlie Brown’s search for the “perfect” Christmas tree and the true meaning of the season.
If you are not an Apple TV+ subscriber, that is fine. You only need an Apple Account to sign in and watch.
How to watch for free
Watching A Charlie Brown Christmas is straightforward:
- Open the Apple TV app on your device
- Sign in with your Apple Account
- Search for A Charlie Brown Christmas
- Press play during the free streaming window
The Apple TV app is available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV hardware, smart TVs, streaming devices, game consoles, and the web at tv.apple.com.

A Charlie Brown Christmas is short, sincere, and completely unconcerned with spectacle, which is exactly why it still works nearly 60 years later.
If it has been a few years since your last viewing, this weekend is an easy excuse to revisit a classic without signing up for yet another service.
