OpenAI Just Dropped a Big Hint: GPT-5 is coming
In a cryptic post on X (formerly Twitter), OpenAI announced a “LIVE5TREAM” set for Thursday at 10AM PT, replacing the “S” in “LIVESTREAM” with a 5, which is a not-so-subtle nod to GPT-5.
This comes just a day after OpenAI released two new open-weight models, one of which runs efficiently on Apple Silicon Macs, signaling a busy and potentially groundbreaking week for the AI company.
