iPhone Fold Leak Shows Render of Phone When Unfolded While Detailing Display Size, Cameras, and a Titanium Frame
While we’re still waiting on the iPhone 17 this September, Apple’s foldable future is already unfolding, literally. A new leak on Weibo gives us the clearest picture yet of what the iPhone Fold, Apple’s rumored 2026 foldable, might bring to the table.
What the Leak Reveals
According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the current iPhone Fold prototype is still in testing, but here are the early specs making headlines:
- 7.58-inch inner display
- Dual 48MP rear cameras
- Titanium frame
- Advanced hinge with amorphous metallic glass composite
The screen size is slightly smaller than analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s earlier 7.8-inch estimate, but still puts it firmly in iPad mini territory making it a compact tablet when unfolded, and a sleek iPhone when closed.
A Smaller iPad mini Vibe

A new render shared by Digital Chat Station shows a book-style foldable that looks like a tiny iPad mini with all the Apple polish you’d expect. It’s clean, premium, and unsurprisingly minimalist.

As for the camera setup, dual 48MP sensors seem to match what’s expected for this year’s iPhone 17 Pro models. No word yet on whether we’ll get wide + ultra-wide or wide + telephoto, but either way, it’s shaping up to be camera-ready.
Still in the Lab
Apple is clearly still fine-tuning things, and with a 2026 launch window, anything could change. But this leak shows Apple isn’t just prototyping, it’s nearing a tangible design for its first foldable.
