What’s Changing
According to earlier reports from Majin Bu, Apple is shaking things up with its case lineup this year.
The Clear Case for iPhone 17 Pro will reportedly:
- Feature dual cutouts at the bottom to support Apple’s new Crossbody Strap and other lanyard-style accessories.
- Ditch the fully transparent look for a partially opaque design. A large white area now spans much of the back, complete with an Apple logo positioned for visual balance.
- Possibly come in tinted versions later, though these may be seasonal or limited releases.
The video shared by Dickson, while likely of a clone or knockoff version, lines up closely with Majin Bu’s earlier claims. The case shown matches the rumored white-backed redesign, which feels like a big departure from Apple’s previous Clear Case styling.

Whether the rumored tinted options ever see daylight remains to be seen, but for now, it looks like the Clear Case might not be so clear after all.
