Jason and Lucia are back in Rockstar’s newest trailer, giving us a deeper look at the high-stakes chaos coming to Leonida.
Just when the hype meter was dipping from Rockstar’s delay announcement, they dropped a GTA 6 Trailer 2 out of nowhere.
Clocking in at a crisp 2 minutes and 46 seconds, the trailer gives us more than just neon skylines and palm trees, it properly introduces us to Jason and Lucia, the criminal duo at the heart of this sun-soaked insanity.
Who Are Jason & Lucia?
Think of them as modern-day Bonnie and Clyde, only with more tattoos, Florida humidity, and possibly worse decision-making skills. Jason’s an ex-Army guy with a sketchy past, trying to outrun his old life in the Keys. Lucia? She’s been through hell and back – and prison – and she’s got no interest in second chances unless she’s making her own rules.
They’re not lovers. (Well… maybe?) They’re not heroes. But they are trying to survive a conspiracy that pulls them deeper into the chaos of Leonida that is Rockstar’s fictional, hyper-saturated take on Florida.
What’s in the Trailer?
A lot. From high-speed boat chases and gas station hold-ups to alligator sightings and those good ol’ Florida Man moments, this trailer screams “chaotic good”. There are sunburns and shotgun shells, influencers and lowriders, and enough drama to make the Ozarks look like Sesame Street. Yes, i get carried away sometimes.
But even with all that energy, it’s really Jason and Lucia’s dynamic that steals the spotlight. There’s desperation, tension, and that raw feeling of two people who’ve got nowhere else to go but together.
More Than Just a Trailer
Rockstar’s official site also dropped extra lore and screenshots, including backstories for the leads that weren’t even shown in the trailer.

If you’re into deep dives and character studies (with a side of crime and car chases), it’s worth checking out. See the full breakdown on Rockstar’s website.

So, When’s It Coming?
Mark your calendar for May 26, 2026. Yep, we’ve still got a wait ahead, but Rockstar says the delay is all about making it perfect. Given the heat this trailer’s bringing, we’ll take their word for it… for now.
