But now the fake iPhone Pocket clones have hit places like AliExpress for as little as 6 bucks. And honestly… the timing is wild. These things popped up almost instantly, and some listings even claim they’re “1:1 replicas” made using the same knitting process. They don’t have the ISSEY MIYAKE branding, but visually, they’re surprisingly close.
Are they the same quality? Probably not. But for people who missed the drop or simply can’t justify paying Apple + designer pricing, the $6 iPhone Pocket versions are practically begging to be added to cart. And knowing how fast the original sold out, a lot of people will do exactly that.
Whether this is a harmless fashion dupe or another chapter in the ongoing saga of Apple accessories being cloned overnight depends on how seriously you take Apple merch. For most people, it’s just another reminder that when something goes viral, the online copy machine works at lightning speed.
