Apple is back with another Apple Watch activity challenge, and this one’s a little different. It’s not about steps, cycling, or calories… it’s about slowing down.
As spotted by MacRumors, this Friday, October 10, Apple Watch users around the world can take part in a new challenge to celebrate Mindful Month.
To earn the exclusive trophy and animated stickers, all you need to do is record at least 10 minutes of mindfulness or meditation using any app that adds mindful minutes to Apple Health.
According to Apple’s message for the challenge:
“On October 10th, let’s take some time to appreciate all the ways we can care for ourselves and each other.”
This fits perfectly with Apple’s growing focus on mental wellness. In the past few years, the company has introduced features like the Journal app and expanded Mindfulness tracking on Apple Watch, encouraging users to focus on both physical and mental health.
So, if you’ve been ignoring the Mindfulness app, this might be the perfect reason to give it a try. Ten minutes of calm could earn you a new badge—and maybe a little peace of mind, too.
