Apple is reopening its Roosevelt Field store in Garden City, NY “soon” after months of renovation. Expect a fresh design, new pickup features, and more.

Apple Store at Roosevelt Field is Reopening Soon, With a Fresh New Look

Apple fans on Long Island, rejoice! After months of renovation, the Apple Store at Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, New York is officially set to reopen “soon.” While Apple hasn’t shared a grand opening date just yet, the update confirms the comeback of one of the brand’s oldest retail spots.

From iPod Era to Modern Apple Aesthetic

Originally opened back in 2002, just months after the first iPod, the Roosevelt Field store has been serving tech fans for over two decades. It’s been closed since November 2023 for renovations, with Apple operating temporarily from a pop-up on the mall’s west side.

When the doors reopen, expect a modernized layout, featuring:

  • Warm wooden design elements replacing the old stainless-steel aesthetic
  • Likely inclusion of Apple Pickup stations for online order convenience
  • A refreshed, spacious vibe in line with newer Apple Stores

More Store Projects in the Works

This isn’t the only Apple retail upgrade in progress. Apple stores at The Galleria (Fort Lauderdale) and Baybrook (near Houston) are still under renovation. Plus, we’re still waiting for the debut of the all-new Apple Downtown Detroit store, which was teased earlier this year.

Stay Tuned

Whether you’re looking to upgrade your iPhone or just want to soak in that fresh Apple Store smell again, the Roosevelt Field reopening is just around the corner.
