Apple is giving fans in India something extra to celebrate ahead of its next big retail milestone, a brand-new exclusive wallpaper for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
The wallpaper design matches the vibrant art covering the store’s facade and will only be available for a limited time. You can download it directly from Apple’s Bengaluru store page. It’s a colorful way to show your excitement for the company’s latest retail space.
Apple Hebbal Opens September 2
The new store, officially named Apple Hebbal, will open its doors on Tuesday, September 2 at the Phoenix Mall of Asia in Bengaluru.
Apple has wrapped the glass facade of the store with the same design featured in the wallpaper, giving us a sneak preview of its theme. While the interior is still under wraps, recent Apple Stores usually feature:
- An Apple Pickup station for online order pickups
- A Genius Bar with varied table and seating heights
- More engineered wood finishes instead of class9ic stainless steel
To further mark the occasion, Apple has also curated a Bengaluru-inspired Apple Music playlist, available now on Apple Music.
Apple’s Retail Journey in India
Apple Hebbal will be Apple’s third store in India, following Apple BKC (Mumbai) and Apple Saket (New Delhi). Two more locations at Pune’s KOPA Mall and Noida’s DLF Mall of India, are reportedly in the works for later this year.
India has quickly become one of Apple’s most important markets, not only for sales but also for manufacturing. In fact, Apple CEO Tim Cook recently noted that a majority of iPhones sold in the U.S. last quarter were manufactured in India, highlighting the country’s growing role in Apple’s global strategy.
