After adding Civilization VII last week, Apple has now announced four more games coming to the subscription service in March. The big headline? Oceanhorn 3: Legend of the Shadow Sea.

And yes, it’s a big one.

Oceanhorn 3 launches March 5

Oceanhorn 3

Oceanhorn 3: Legend of the Shadow Sea arrives on Thursday, March 5, and it will be playable across:

  • iPhone
  • iPad
  • Mac
  • Apple TV
  • Apple Vision Pro

This is not a small update or a side project. According to series creator Heikki Repo, the game has been five years in development.

Apple describes the new title as featuring:

  • Console-quality visuals
  • New traversal mechanics
  • Upgraded combat systems
  • A fresh story with new characters

If you’ve followed the Oceanhorn series, you already know it blends action RPG gameplay with exploration and story-driven adventure. If you’re new to it, this looks like a very polished entry point.

Apple clearly wants this to be a flagship Arcade moment.

3 more games joining in March

Oceanhorn 3 is the headliner, but it’s not alone. Also launching March 5:

Pocket Love By HyperBeard 1

Pocket Love!+: A cozy life simulator where you design your home, customize characters, and build your dream little world.

Flow Free By Big Duck Games

Flow Free+: A classic puzzle game built around connecting colors and clearing grids. Simple concept, dangerously addictive.

Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story By Kairosoft Co

Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story+: A sweet shop simulator where you manage desserts and serve customers in a charming Doraemon-themed setting.

It’s a pretty diverse lineup. Action RPG, life sim, puzzle, and management sim. Something for everyone.

The bigger picture

Apple Arcade now has 200+ games, all included in the subscription with:

  • No ads
  • No in-app purchases
  • No paywalls

That clean experience is still Arcade’s biggest selling point.

Oceanhorn 3 especially feels like Apple continuing its push toward bigger, more console-style experiences on mobile and across its ecosystem. And with Vision Pro support included on day one, Apple clearly sees this as part of its broader gaming strategy.

If you’re already subscribed, March 5 is looking busy. If you’re not, this might be one of the stronger months to jump in.
